Chesapeake Neighbors currently owns and operates 65 units across central Maryland. In addition to further development in the surrounding central Maryland region, Chesapeake Neighbors has made a commitment to develop scattered site, affordable housing on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. No two communities are the same, and no matter where our housing units are located, we continually provide the same quality services to each resident according to their needs. We’re connected to current and prospective residents by more than just a bridge across the Chesapeake. We’re connected by a common goal—housing equity.

Development Pipeline
In the last twelve months, Chesapeake Neighbors has completed six new housing units and is currently working on several housing projects including:
- WB&A North – redevelopment of a duplex that includes a fully accessible, zero barrier unit
- Benton – repurposing a double unit suburban home to two, 4-bedroom units with increased accessibility
Chesapeake Neighbors is partnering with Chesapeake Community Development, a community focused organization of The Arc Central Chesapeake Region that is developing a mixed used 20,000+ square foot building on historic Port Street in Easton, Maryland. Chesapeake Neighbors will focus on the development of eight housing units that includes 2- and 3-bedroom residences with several zero barrier apartments.
